I am admitted as a patent attorney under German law and as a European Trademark and Design Attorney for representation before the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) and as a European Patent Attoreny for representation before the European Patent Office (EPO).
The responsible supervisory authorities for patent attorneys are the Chamber of Patent Attorneys and for European Patent Attorneys, the Institute of Representatives at the European Patent Office (epi).
The Patent Attorneys' Act (PAO) and the Professional Code of Conduct for Patent Attorneys (BOPA) apply to patent attorneys. The regulations mentioned can be found on the Patent Attorney Association's website (www.patentanwalt.de). The current version can be viewed.
